Teaching at home

An Elephant at School WES Home School Service is designed to create a school in the home where parents teach their own children. This is particularly beneficial where education facilities are limited or, where there is a need to "top up" local school education. Courses in English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities (5-14 yrs) and Reception (4-5 yrs) are offered. Teaching support and assessment are provided by WES personal tutors - highly qualified and experienced UK teachers.
Home School families live and work in a variety of situations in over 100 countries from Argentina to Zambia - or even sailing around the world.

As a WES Home School family you will receive:
  • an initial assessment of your child's educational level.
  • individually selected courses tailored to the needs of your child, based on the National Curriculum of England, setting-out what and how to teach.
  • Books & Equipmentall necessary books and materials to support the subjects.
  • WES personal tutor to advise and support you in your role of teacher
  • regular assessments of your child's progress level throughout the term/year.
  • a final report from WES detailing your child's educational level to hand on to future schools.
